CenCal Takeover Event Information

CenCal Takeover is almost here at Famoso Dragstrip! Please review the following important event information before arriving on Saturday.

Pre-Sale Has Ended

Spectator, Car Show, and Drag Racing tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on Saturday.

Burnout Box Participant Entry is SOLD OUT.

Important Arrival Notice

Famoso Dragstrip asks participants to please refrain from arriving before 7:00 AM in order to prevent blocking traffic on surrounding streets.

There will be plenty of time for fun, and our staff will work hard to get everyone through the gates in a timely manner beginning at 8:00 AM.

Event Schedule

• Participant Roll-In: Saturday beginning at 8:00 AM
  Car Show / Drag Racing / Burnout Box
• Spectator Gates Open: Saturday at 11:00 AM

Tree Grove Parking Notice

The Tree Grove area located behind the grandstands will be OFF LIMITS for parking in 2026, as the main stage and spectator viewing area will be located there and cannot accommodate vehicle parking.

ANY vehicles parked in the Tree Grove area will be towed.

Inside Parking

Inside parking is reserved for Car Show, Burnout Box, and Drag Racing participants ONLY.

• Limited to one vehicle per participant ticket
• No support vehicles permitted inside, including:
  • Crew vehicles
  • Friend or family vehicles
  • Additional trailers or transport vehicles

Spectators wishing to park inside the event area must purchase a Car Show Entry.

Outside Parking

Outside spectator parking is available at NO CHARGE for:

• General spectators
• Crew members
• Friends and family of participants
• Support vehicles and trailers

Prohibited Items

The following items are NOT permitted:

• Coolers
• Outside alcohol
• Cruising
• BBQ grilles
• RZRs / CAN-AMs / other power sport vehicles

Ticket Types

General Admission

• Available at the gate
• Must park in the spectator parking lot
• Vehicles will not be permitted in show areas without a Show, Drag Racing, or Burnout ticket

Show Ticket

• Valid for one truck/car and driver
• Includes designated parking within the show area
• Additional passengers must purchase General Admission tickets

Burnout Ticket

• Valid for one truck/car and driver
• Includes designated parking within the show area
• Additional passengers must purchase General Admission tickets

Participation Rules

• Trucks/cars may only have ONE type of participant ticket
• Each ticket type has its own designated parking area

Burnout Rules

• Burnouts must strictly occur within the designated burnout area
• Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and potential fines

Additional Regulations

• NO cruising — immediate removal if violated
• NO side-by-sides, dune buggies, or other power sport vehicles permitted
• Trailed vehicles require (2) relevant category tickets; failure to comply may result in additional fees

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS. All sales are final.
