LOCKED-IN JUST GOT LOUDER! COMING TO FAMOSO AUGUST 30-31

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Locked-In Just Got Louder: Outlaw Cars Are Coming to Famoso August 30–31
Big Tire and Small Tire Join the Fight in a Surprise Twist for Two Nights of 1/8 Mile, Heads-Up, No-Time Racing with Chip Draws and New Class Additions
MCFARLAND, CA — When the Locked-In Drag Racing Series returns to Famoso Dragstrip on August 30–31, 2025, it’s making its boldest move yet: Outlaw Big Tire and Outlaw Small Tire are officially joining the fight.
For the first time ever, these outlaw-style shootouts will go down on a fully radial-prepped surface, in true heads-up, no-time racing with chip draws determining the elimination rounds. It’s pure throwback chaos — but with structure, sponsors, and a whole lot of payout potential.
Also debuting are two new classes: a dedicated Truck class and a naturally aspirated N/A 10.5 shootout. Add in the return of the 5.35 Index, now officially noted as Little Gangsters Welcome, and you’ve got the wildest Locked-In lineup to date.
To back it up, a new price structure is in play — built to reward racers with higher payouts optimized for each individual division.
Tech Cards: $100 for Saturday / $150 for Sunday (All Divisions)
Radial Track Prep Like You’ve Never Seen
This event will feature one of the most refined radial-prepped surfaces we’ve ever produced at Famoso. Our team is dialing in the track for maximum consistency and grip to suit the needs of today’s heads-up, small tire, and outlaw racers. Whether you’re chasing a number or running blind, you can trust the surface to deliver.
