Sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s made for near-perfect conditions as Import Face-Off rolled into Famoso Dragstrip Sunday, February 22, delivering one of the strongest stops yet at the Bakersfield facility.

A strong crowd filled the grounds throughout the day, with fans lining the fence, packing the pit area, and enjoying the wide range of activities that make Import Face-Off unique. The energy was high from start to finish as competitors and spectators alike took advantage of the ideal weather.

On track, a diverse field of import cars, trucks, and sport bikes battled down the quarter-mile, chasing quick elapsed times and top speeds. In the show area, a polished lineup of cars, trucks, and bikes competed for awards, drawing steady attention from fans.

Fan-favorite competitions kept the excitement level up all afternoon. The low car limbo contest drew cheers as participants pushed suspension limits, while the always-popular 2-step competition brought rev limiters, flames, and plenty of crowd reaction. DJs provided music throughout the event, and vendors offered performance parts, apparel, and automotive merchandise along the midway.

With excellent weather and strong participation across all categories, Sunday’s Import Face-Off once again demonstrated the versatility of Famoso Dragstrip and its ability to host high-energy automotive culture events alongside traditional drag racing.
